No-Bake Mini Oreo Cups Covered in Chocolate

No-Bake Mini Oreo Cups

It is rather shocking that one of the most addicting desserts around contains only 3 INGREDIENTS! Oreos, cream cheese and chocolate chips are all you need to make these No-Bake Mini Oreo Cups. Now, if you’ve never had Oreo balls before, you are in for quite the treat. The only downside: you will literally not be able to stop eating them. So, if you’re on some kind of diet or trying to watch your sweet intake, do not even attempt to eat “just one” because it is physically impossible. c(=

Normally, this dessert would be in a typical “ball” shape with the Oreo filling dipped in chocolate. However, I planned on giving these as little treats for the holidays, so I made them in a mini cupcake pan instead. Different shape, same delicious taste.

Another upside to this dessert (as if it needs more) is that there is absolutely no baking required! The chocolate hardens quickly in the fridge, so you won’t have to wait too long to start pigging out on these. You will have to keep them in the fridge for storage due to the use of cream cheese. But if you’re taking them to a party or serving them up at a dessert table, they should be fine for a few hours at room temperature. They’ll be long gone before you have to refrigerate them again anyway. 🙂 Read on to see the full recipe for these No-Bake Mini Oreo Cups!

Only 3 ingredients needed to make these sweet No-Bake Mini Oreo Cups! An addicting treat that’s great for a dessert table or holiday gift!

Ingredients

  • 24 oreos

  • 8 oz package of cream cheese

  • 4 cups chocolate chips

Directions

  • In a food processor, grind all the Oreos into a fine powder
  • Soften the cream cheese for about 30 seconds in the microwave
  • Add the cream cheese to the Oreo powder and mix until well combined
  • Prepare the Oreo filling by splitting the batter into 48 balls about 1 inch in size. Flatten the top slightly (see picture above)
  • Using a MINI cupcake pan, place baking cups into each cupcake slot
  • Place chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl and microwave in 30 second increments to prevent the chips from burning. Stir between each 30 second increment. I did three 30 second increments and the chocolate was completely melted and creamy
  • Next, cover the bottom of each baking cup with about ½ a tablespoon of melted chocolate
  • Add the Oreo balls you prepared earlier to each baking cup
  • Next, pour more melted chocolate over the Oreo filling until they are covered completely
  • Once all cupcake slots are filled, place the cupcake pan in the fridge. You can keep refrigerated for at least one hour (feel free to remove it sooner if chocolate is hard enough for your liking)
  • Dig in and enjoy!

I love baking in whatever form it is. If you ask me, baking is kind of an art style. Do not make fun of me, I am being serious here. I truly believe that baking is a type of art. The way you handle your baked goods is really artistic. The way you craft and present them can also be viewed as art. I always see myself as an artist whenever I am baking some nice cake back at home.
