There’s that magical word again! Garlic. Anything garlic, I must try of course. Steak and potatoes have a nice ring to them, but add that garlic in there and I’m sold.
I started by boiling the potatoes on the stove-top for about 15 minutes. This helped cut down on the bake time and ensure tender steak and soft potatoes. I took the route of splitting the mixture of asparagus, potatoes and steak into 5 separate portions and wrapping them in foil. I had to bake them for about 25 minutes for the potatoes to be soft enough.
You can marinate the steak overnight or at least 2 hours before baking to ensure the best flavor. Just store the marinated steak in the fridge until you’re ready to cook.
