Sweet & Spicy Boneless Pork Ribs

Boneless Pork Ribs

My favorite thing about this recipe is that it takes only 6 ingredients (and two of those ingredients include salt and pepper). When I decided to make ribs for the first time, I thought it would be a complicated ordeal to get them to come out tender and flavorful. But to my pleasant surprise, these Boneless Pork ribs were extremely simple to make!

Boneless Pork Ribs

I learned that you really don’t need to over do it when it comes to making ribs. A few spices here and there and topping them off with some flavorful BBQ sauce is more than enough. The most important part is making sure you bake them properly so that they come out juicy and tender. The secret to ensuring this happens? Water and foil.

For those interested, I included a link below to the deep baking dishes I always use! This set comes with two sizes. For this recipe, I used the 9 x 13 inch dish.

“Bone-in” ribs are great and all, but imagine being able to eat juicy ribs dripping in barbecue sauce without ever having to get your hands dirty? 😉 That’s the beauty of these boneless pork ribs! You can eat them with a knife and fork if you really want to. So go ahead and read the full recipe below for more details!

These Sweet & Spicy Boneless Pork Ribs take just 6 ingredients to make! They are baked to juicy, tender perfection and covered in spices and barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless pork loins/ribs

  • ½ cup water

  • 28 oz bottle of BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Rays Sweet n’ Spicy)

  • 1 tsp seasoned meat tenderizer

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Pour the water into a deep baking pan
  • Add the pork loins to the pan so that they’re side by side
  • Sprinkle each pork loin with the meat tenderizer, salt and pepper. You only need to sprinkle the top of the pork loin, because as they bake, the water will absorb the seasoning and make sure the ribs soak up all the flavor
  • Cover the top of the pan tightly with foil to ensure the ribs stay tender as they bake
  • Place pan in the oven and bake for about 1 hour
  • Remove from oven and drain excess water
  • Coat both sides of ribs with BBQ sauce making sure they are well covered (I used about half of the 28 oz bottle)
  • Return to oven uncovered and bake for additional 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and serve. Add more BBQ sauce as desired
